Website is operated by Mobile Smart Technologies and when on this site, the terms ‘’Kalahari’’, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to kalaharigrid.co.za. and these terms of service describes our visitors, users of our website and clients with whom we make commitments to provide a service paid for, is referred to as (“you”, “your”).

The “product” we offer on this website, refer to “the information, the services, the installation packages and the shop content” that is available to you, the user, and is provided conditioned on your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here on our Website.

Kalaharigrid provides to online clients in South Africa only and we supply items of various manufacturers and brands subject to their availability and the receipt of payment.

By visiting and using our site or purchasing something from us, you are subject to the information in the policies we have, including this Terms of Service policy.

Shipping, Returns and Refunds

We are unable to control manufacturer and supplier deliveries, due to especially over public holidays, weekends, the festive season, during labour disruptions or adverse natural weather conditions and where extended delays are encountered, we will be in contact with you. Our order request processing time is 1 to 2 business days and receiving the goods will be within 9 working days.

We use two courier companies and once the products have been received by us from the manufacturer, it will be checked and confirmed and you will be issued a tracking number that will be provided to you to track your purchased items for delivery, Also check our shipping policy at Tracking Your Order:

Our Product

Refers to “the information, the services, the installation packages and the shop content” that is available to you and the information we share, the services we provide, the installation packages we have and the contents we sell online and use in our services and in our installation packages are available exclusively online through the website and are subject to change without notice, however the display thereof with the added information and specifications is as accurately as possible to the colours, the specifications and the functions we received from the various brands and manufacturers.

We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue our ‘’Product’’ (or any part or content thereof) without prior notice and shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any changes, modifications to our ‘’Product’’ when the ‘’Product’’ or part thereof is changed, discontinued or when pricing changes has to be made. There may also be information on our site that contains inaccuracies, typographical errors or omissions that may relate to pricing and times and we reserve the right to correct any of these inaccuracies, errors or omissions, and to cancel orders if any information in them are based on the inaccuracies benefitting you or us.

These inaccuracies, errors or omissions may also apply to the information relating to technical aspects and specifications we have on our site and where such information was applied by you, knowing or unknowingly without confirming them with the manufacturers specifications, instructions in their specific product manuals or a subject matter expert, we cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind that occurred. We reserve the right to correct those inaccuracies, errors or omissions on the technical information and specifications.

The manufacturers specifications, the instructions in their specific product manuals or consultation with a subject matter expert is to guide us as installers, including the DIY enthusiasts to strictly follow these guidelines and where the electrical regulations deem it required, to get a certified electrician to do the work and commission the installation.

 

Marketing and Promoting

For marketing and advertising we do take photos and or videos of all our mobile and fixed installations when completed and will as much as possible remove all information relating to the vehicles, tow behinds, off-grid cabins and getaway homes regarding licence plates, branding, geolocation etc and will only with your permission show any of this information. We will share all photos and or videos with each client.

We may include third-party links on this site that will promote similar products as our own and also allow you to gain more information and background regarding what our ‘’Product’ relates to and you will be directed to these third-party websites that are not affiliated with us and we kindly ask that you examine and evaluate those sites as we do not warrant or have any liability or responsibility for any third-party materials or websites and their contents, products and services or purchases made there.

We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, resources, content, or any  transactions made there.

Personal Information

When you interact on the site and complete the free Energy assessment or purchase something you are askes to start providing some personal information and in our Privacy Policy we give the guidelines on how we use that information and we motivate you to provide current, complete and accurate Product purchase information for all purchases made at our store and also include your name and surname with the correct email address and telephone numbers so that we can contact you and consult with you regarding any of the Products we have where you have shown interest in.

Any other information, including your card numbers and expiration dates will only be used by the Payfast system to complete your transactions and none of the above information will be given to any 3rd party by us.

Our Service

The ‘’product” that is provided by kalaharigrid is subject to availability and in the case where the product becomes unavailable or the physical installation is outside our area of operation , kalaharigrid will credit you the full amount within 7 days of date of the service booking for the product and will be done as a credit amount via the online store or refund you into a valid bank account in the name of the client which must have the proof of payment made. All Cancellations will be at a 10% administration fee.

We cannot always guarantee that our Product regarding onsite installations and services will be uninterrupted, always timely or completely error-free as there are challenges with travelling, reaching our install destinations and equipment short comings, but we do guarantee that we will commit to the agreed works order.

You expressly agree that your use of our Product is at your sole risk. The product that is available to you, be it “the information, the services, the installation packages and the shop content” is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ for your use, nevertheless all warranties will be handled by us and as agreed upon by us and you, neither party is the manufacturer of the components available and used and cannot be held sole responsible for the design, operational function or failure of these manufactured components used in our and your installations when causing injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind that occurred, nevertheless we apply these products to the specifications and guidelines provided by the manufacturers with the application of good practice electrical principles of workmanship.
