Nomad Package: Level 1

The Nomad package levels are all roof solar, alternator and National grid charge enabled and additionally charged with ground deploy portable solar panels. The first level is 12 V system to accommodate the 2000VA off grid inverter while supplying all the standard 12V DC outlets as the RV was designed with and applies to all three levels. The second level is a 12V off grid solar system to accommodate the 2000 VA hybrid inverter while the third level package has a 12V 3000VA hybrid inverter in the off grid solar system ready to run an air conditioner for short periods during the day. Backup generators giving power to top up these high capacity 12V solar battery systems when your vehicle is stationary for extended periods in those Off grid and Wild camping destinations with days of overcast weather is highly recommended.

The first level of the Nomad package is a 12 V system where you have a 2000VA smart inverter in an off grid solar system with 460 Ah drop in LifePo4 solar battery capacity. The 30 A MPPT solar charger is connected to permanently installed solar panels on the roof and a 30 A DC-to-DC alternator charger is used while travelling.

The additional 50 A MPPT solar charger is capable of accepting two of the 400 W portable ground deployed solar panels when arriving at the planned destination and can provide 60% of the battery capacity in a day’s charging if parked in the shade and the roof solar charging is affected.

When connected to a National grid the 30 A wall charger is used to replenish the solar battery.
